Moochies Phone for Kids works via text messages to connect the parent’s APP to the watch, and also phone calls between your phone and the Moochies device. So it is advisable to have a package, either pre-pay or on a contract, that offers good value on SMS text messages and phone calls. Normally, networks offer a good package for texts, calls and a bit of data for a small amount top-up.
Can both parents install and use the Moochies app?
Yes, you can invite up to 5 people to have the Moochies APP on their mobile phones, so they can check the whereabouts of the child and call them. However, the main user is the only person who can change the settings, such as who can call the Moochies phone watch. (This is great as it allows each parent to be able to contact and monitor the child, as well as grandparents, carers etc…)
How secure is the Moochies Phone Watch?
The Moochies APP is held on a secure Amazon server. To bind your phone to the Moochies phone watch, requires a number of security protocols, which will ensure the Moochies phone watch can only be bound to your phone. Only the main APP user can change the settings, so it is safe from 3rd party interference.
What is the call quality of the Moochies Phone for Kids?
The Moochies phone watch has a small speaker on the face of the watch. The quality is just the same as mobile phone that you would have on the ‘loud-speaker’ setting. Customers are amazed at the clarity of the speaker. Similarly, there is a mini-microphone on the face of watch which will pick up the child’s voice, again this is just as clear as any normal mobile-to-mobile phone conversation.
